Sledding For Days!

WE got a TON of fresh snow and so we seized the opportunity and went sledding! We went up to the sand dunes in Rexburg and had a blast. We had the snowmobile which made it nice, because walking up the hill sucks!

There was so much snow that the first few rounds down we got covered!

You can't beat sledding though! It was so much fun, and we all had a good time!

Dinosaur Tag Toy!

The other day I was at a craft fair and they had little tag blankets for babies and I thought hmmm.. Sampson loves to chew on tags, its one of his favorite things. So I thought maybe I will make him a tag toy! It was a brilliant idea because my oldest brother just happens to be having a baby and so I can make two! That way I will get to practice on Sampsons, and make a perfect one for the baby!

So I did a little searching and came across a few different ideas on Pinterest! So what I did was trace the shape I wanted, I got Dinosaur fabric and so I thought a Dinosaur would be perfect.

Step 1: Cut shape or animal you would like!

Step 2: Place Ribbon along the Right Side of the fabric (You can choose the same, different and how many different spikes you want)

Step 3: Sew right side to right side, make sure to leave an opening (I may or may not of forgot and had to open it back up!) so you can flip it (preferably along the bottom or somewhere not as noticeable. After you have sew them together, flip it so right sides are on the outside.

Step 4: Stuff with what ever you would like! I had an old pair of shorts and so I just cut them up and stuffed my dinosaur. (You could add plastic, bells, squawkers or anything else if you want as well)

Step 5: Hand Stitch the opening and your all done!

Super easy and Simple! Plus my puppy loved it! He always goes to the bucket and picks his little dinosaur out!

College Graduation

Brag Time! I feel like I can :)

I graduated high school in 2010 and came straight to BYU-Idaho! I had about 40 transfer credits from High School and already had a head start. I went to school Fall/Spring until Fall 2013! 7 semesters later, as you can see from my pictures below, I GRADUATED! It's a huge accomplishment for me, I am the first in my family to get a College Degree. I loved every single bit of College! I couldn't of picked a better major, I chose Exercise Physiology with a Emphasis in Program Design! I LOVED IT! I really truly learned more than just intellectual knowledge, being at a church school my testimony really grew and I learned so much more about how to be a better wife, daughter, sister, mother, and friend.

Oreo Truffles!

So if you haven't had Oreo Truffles you need to make them!!! They are some of my FAVORITE things, they are really rich and you can only eat 1..... then wait a couple hours and eat another!

I finally bought all the stuff and MADE THEM! :)

The Christmas Hunt

As I sit here watching "Buddy the Elf" I laugh when Buddy is bringing in his Christmas Tree and it doesn't fit because that is EXACTLY what happened to us!  When it came down to buying either a fake tree or cutting down a real tree it was simple. This is our first Christmas together, we didn't want just a boring fake tree! (no offense if you have a fake one.) We wanted the experience to go cut down our own! So we got our permit and went up by Island Park and got us a tree!

ME and Sampson on our way up to Island Park!

DIY ORNAMENT!

This being Kooper and I's first Christmas I thought it would be really fun to make a few ornaments. That would remind us each year the first Christmas we spent together!!
To start I got these two blocks from Porter's for $1 each!

 Then I painted them!

Then I got pictures for both of them, I cut the pictures to fit!

I used modge podge to stick them together, I didn't realize I only had Puzzle Modge Podge till I started but it still worked pretty good.

I stapled Ribbon to hang them from the tree.

And Viola! Here are the finished products! I love them, I think they turned out great, and I think that they will be fun reminders of our first Christmas together. You might ask why I chose these two pictures? Well the one on the left is Sampson, our new puppy (who was pretty much an early Christmas Present) I love him! Go here to see more Pictures of him! Then the picture on the right is of Me and Kooper getting our first REAL Christmas Tree! It was so much fun! I'll get the details for that later, but for now here are some EASY DIY ornaments! If you want more ideas check out Tawny's Tid Bits! On December 13th she will be posting 13 DIY Ornaments from 13 different girls to give you some fun ideas!

Sampson

I've always wanted to have a puppy but it wasn't ever possible. Between moving back and forth to college so often I would have to of left him/her behind to much. Recently we decided we wanted a puppy! Some of our friends just got two puppies, and when we went over and saw them I decided that's it! I want one! They are not allowed to have pets in their complex and so they got a doctors note saying to allow pet therapy! Well, genius idea right! (I might of got that idea in my head, that I could do that too.) Now that I am married I don't move very often. So we started looking and looking and looking. We wanted to get a small dog because we don't have a fenced yard or much yard at all. So we started looking at Yorkie's or Yorkie mixes but they were all soo expensive. $800+. However, we were persistent and found one, best part he was in Idaho Falls rather than Utah where most of the others were and a lot cheaper!  We went and saw him and I just fell in love instantly!

So.. Instead of having a baby we got a puppy!

Meet Sampson!
